Raging Waters!!!

Raging Waters in Salt Lake City, Utah

We had the best time ever at Raging Waters. Sorry owners and lovers of Cherry Hills, but Raging Waters was MUCH more fun. They have (I would have to say) close to 10 slides, maybe more. They have a wave pool,a lazy river, a kids pool, and two little splash park areas. Fun for the whole family, all day long. We spent close to 8 hours there and could have spent a lot longer there if we did not have to get to Brandon's Family Reunion. It's already been decided; when Brandon's family is in charge of the reunion again, we are totally going to Raging Waters!!

This Slide is 7 stories tall and you drop 50 feet per second. It took a lot of courage on my behalf but I finally did it!! I and Tammie just couldn't let Brandon and Zack out do us, so we grew the strength and did it! Holy Crap!! That was SO awesome, but so scary. I asked the guy in front of me for any tips and he told me to get up on my knees and elbows when I started to go up and so I did it, and yes, I caught a ton of air. Yahoo!!

When I came down at the end, I totally smacked my face into the mat. OUCH!

Cherry Hills Waterpark and Resort


This is the tube ride, Cardiac Canyon. It's really fun because they let you go in groups and in trains!! So, were able to bond with each other better ;)
I was very proud of Kaython for going on it! He had to go on his own tube and he did several times. Aunt Sherry and Kelton were great on-lookers!

Mini Golf!!

Now, normally mini golf is a blast, but I'm not gonna lie, with two little guys less than two it sucked!!!! First of all, they were both SO tired and they were so whiney and every time we would hit the ball they would go grab it!! So, it ended up being a worthless game. I actually ended up taking Kelton to the trailer about half way through the game because he was being such a stinker and just needed to get to bed. O~well, I'm sure it won't be our last opportunity to play miniature golf.

Brandon was such a patient teacher with Kaython and Kaython ended up doing very well and I think he enjoyed it a lot!! I think Brandon would have won had we been taking score, he is pretty much amazing at all golf!! Please ignore the pic of me...or just look past the chub!!

New Camp Trailer

We have really enjoyed having it and we cannot wait to take it out some more! We plan to create many memories with this thing for years to come!! There is not much to say about the pictures so I’ll just let you take a peek at it!!

4th of July Recap!!

4th of July 2010

This year was an almost typical year of the 4th for us. We started out with our annual trip to Wyoming to get our fireworks. Our annual trip consist of our family, Scott and Jana and their little girl Paisley, Christy and Briley and their three kids: Brooke, Braxton, and Bryson, and Nate and Daphne and their two kids Peyton and Wyatt. We spent lots of money to watch burn, but it's always a fun tradition. Our drive to Wyoming was followed by a BBQ at Scott and Jana's. The food was SO good. Scott and Jana made some freakin' killer steak and ribs. MMMmmmm.

We then celebrated the fourth at the Idaho Falls Parade on July 3rd. It was SO cold, we stayed wrapped up in blankets the whole parade. We went the night before and saved a place and then Nicole, Jason, Brennin, and Conner, and Marcus and LaurieAnn came and joined us. The kids loved the candy that was thrown. Kelton was amazed with all the horses and kept saying heeehee everytime they passed by! Kaython was more in aw with the all the motorcycles and the dirt bikers; especially the dirt bikers that did flips in the air. They were pretty cool.

Right after the parade we took our new camper (pics later) and went camping!! Unfortunately, I did not get many pics. But we had a blast anyways. We played lots of games, we went 4-wheeling, and had fun just hanging out and visiting. Daphne and I even made a little swimming pool for the kids, but it ended up turning into a mud puddle before we even got water in it (thanks to Kelton and wyatt). The kids had fun with it anyways.

We headed home on Monday and got most of the stuff cleaned up. I had school the next day and had two big tests so we had to get the boys to my brothers to spend the night so they could watch them while I was at school. I and Brandon were going to go watch the Menan fireworks, but when it came down to it I knew I needed to study so we just went to dinner and then home and I stayed up and studied! It payed off though, I did really well on my tests!!

Once again I have let time slip past me and have totally forgotten about the blogging. We had a very fun 4th of July. We went to the parade in Idaho Falls and then went camping for the rest of the weekend with some of our good friends in our new camp trailer! Yes, we bought a camp trailer!! I will post pics very soon. We totally love it and are so excited to use it for many years to come.

I just finished my summer term of school and passed both classes with A's! I have a bit shorter than a six week break and then I am back to school for my final semester!! Wooohooo!! I am so excited and ready to be done, but at the same time I am so nervous for boards!

The boys are freaking awesome as usual. We have been able to do a few fun things this summer. This last week we went to Eigen (Hidden) Lake. It is a lake out by the sand dunes that is a great place to take kids. The highest point in the water was about mid-thigh on me. There were several tadpoles in there so we caught a bunch of them and I let my boys bring a few home and Brandon helped them put them in the fish tank. As of last night, they and our fish are all still alive. I was worried they would bring some disease to the rest of the fish, but so far so good!! We have also enjoyed the splash park in Rexburg a few times this year. We are loving the warm heat though and we play out in it as much as we can. There's no funner time than summer!! The warm heat, the shorts and short sleeved shirts, flip-flops and sandals, popsicles and ice cream bars and most importantly spending more time with the family!!

I am sorry I have no pics to post. We left our camera with Brandon's brother Marcus since the 4th and I just got it back last night.

However, we are leaving tonight to go to Utah for Brandon's Family Reunion. We are going to Raging Waters tomorrow with my sister Tammie and her hubby Zack and then going to the reunion tomorrow evening to Cherry Hills. So, I will snap some pics and hopefully post them soon!
