Just a quick drop in!

I know it's been forever since my last entry...I've been crazy!! School this semester is kicking my little (well, big) tushy!! But on the flip side and for the good news.....only 7 weeks left!!! I can do this!! It has been a very difficult semester. LOTS of homework and TONZ of studying! I am still working full time and I am still an almost full time Mommy! So, as you can imagine; I am stressed to the max! Bottom line is: as soon as I get done w school, I will be back on here full board! Until then, just wait patiently for me, please!

The Tale of How Kaython Looses His First Tooth!!
Once upon a time on Wednesday, August 18, Kaython was visiting his Aunt Tammie and Uncle Zack while his Mommy was at a funeral. Kaython had a loose tooth for a couple weeks but it wouldn't fall out on it's own, and he was too scared to have it pulled. Well, when his mom had gotten back from the funeral, he told her that he wanted his Uncle Zack to pull it out. His mommy was stoked about that (let the uncle be the mean guy). So, his mommy decided he needed one last picture of him with all of his teeth.

When the time came Kaython almost backed out, but then he got really brave and decided to let Uncle Zack pull it. Uncle Zack had a hard time getting it out because it was so slippery, but as soon as he got a piece of tissue the tooth popped right out!

At first Kaython was smiling and thinking it was cool, but then he realized it started bleeding so he started to cry. He cried for a couple of minutes, until his mommy asked him if he wanted to call his dadddy and he called his dad and got so excited he quit crying. But he had quite the hole from where the tooth was.

The tooth was already to go under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy to come!

But first, Kaython had to write the Tooth Fairy a letter because he was very concerned if the tooth fairy is a boy or a girl because fairies are girls, but he just saw the movie The Tooth Fairy and thinks they are boys now. His letter read:

Dear Tooth Fairy,

Are you a boy or a gir? I love you.

Love, Kaython

The Tooth Fairy must have thought he was a great kid because he got a note back and a one dollar bill with it. His note read:

Dear Kaython,

Thank you for your letter. You are such a sweet boy! There is more than one tooth fairy. There are several tooth fairies and they are both boy and gir. I love you too kaython!!

Love, Your Tooth Pairy

Kelton Turns 2!!!

Kelton's 2nd Birthday!!

For Kelton's 2nd birthday party this year we did a construction theme. Rather than going on a long spill about the party details, I will just let you take a look at the pictures. I was really worried about how the party was going to go because Kelton was hyper and excited and did not stop running or playing for two seconds that day. We could not even get him to settle down long enough to fall asleep for his daily nap. However, The party ended up being super wonderful and Kelton was a really good kid. We all had an amazing time.

Happy 2nd Birthday Big Boy!!

Family Pictures

Family Pics
August 16, 2010

At the last minute we decided to do family pictures! I had gone last week to take some of my sister Sandra and my friend Amy and decided they were so cute my family needed some. So, I yanked and pulled and begged my sister and her hubby (Sandra and Brandon) into coming and taking our pics for us. Unfortunately, they went ahead of us with my brother Robert and his wife Melissa and started taking their pictures up higher in the mountains with a gorgeous background of rolling hills (where we had planned to go), well, the farmer came up and saw them in his wheat field. He stopped and made them get out because they were "knocking the grain off the heads". So, we met them down further and ended up doing our pics here. I still think the background is beautiful because the clouds were low, and so bright and puffy and then as the sun began to set the sky behind us turned a bright red. The wind was blowing like crazy so I was constantly pulling hair out of my face and off my lips where it kept sticking to my chap stick. We did not have much time as it was getting dark very fast, but we did happen to get a few good ones. And we were lucky because most of the farmers started harvesting their fields that day and by now I am sure you would not be able to find a wheat field anywhere close by. Maybe a straw field but not a wheat field!!
