Sunday was such a gorgeous day my Hubby had to get out of the house and go fishin'. I at the very last second decided to load the kids up and go with him. However, It is very difficult to fish when you have an almost 14 month old that just wants to play in the water. Kelton had stepped in the river 4 times. BRrrRRrrr!! As you will notice no, we did not get anything! Bummer!!! But we were only out there for an hour because we had to get to Brandon's Parents house for dinner. Maybe next time I'll catch my Big One! :)

This Little Cutie had so much fun posing for his Mommy!! He was SO good letting me take his pics and I got several really great pics of him. It was a good thing we waited until he had his nap, or Oh Boy! he would have been grumpy!! Thank You Grandma and Papa for letting us use your pumpkins!!

Kaython atGrandma Bowcutt's after taking pictures with Ruthans family. He asked me at least a dozen times if we could takes pics with the pumpkins! So, of course, after 12 times, what could it hurt, right(?), so I gave in! Actually, I really wanted to take the pics with the pumpkins; I just wanted to wait until Kelton woke up, so here is the one Kaython picked to have put on here. The stinker kept giving me either crazy poses or super, super, cheesey smiles!

Autumn is Here!!

So today was a fun day!!! We went with my really good friend Ruthan, and her family to take their family pictures (NO, I am not a photogapher). We went up past Heise and took them by the old truck and the barn. I think we got some really cute ones and, as always, Ruthan looked so stinkin' gorgeous. Ruthan then treated us all to Heise Pizza! Mmmm! On the way back we decided we needed some more fall type pictures so we stopped and took some of the kids and Ruthan was nice enough to take a few of me and my boys!! (yes, it would be cuter if I looked a little cuter, and actually had finished my makeup, but that's not the point right!) Yep, these are my pridefuls, Kaython and Kelton!! I just love them too much! They just seem to make my heart so warm and happy!!

This pic was taken on Kaython's first day of school!! Wow!! That was a crazy day for me! Where do the years go? He is such a fun boy and his personality is beginning to come out more and more as time goes by! He says some of the funniest things lately...some of the craziest things too. It's scary how much he wants to learn. The other night we were driving home from Rexburg and he wanted me to tell him about our hearts. What's our heart for? How does it make that sound I hear with your ear thingy? How big is it? Do animals have one? As the conversation went on I told him that our heart pumps blood to get oxygen to our brain, our fingers, and our toes and he asked more in depth questions like, whats oxygen for? How do we breathe? Why is blood red? How come we can get cuts and not die? Then it went on to the brain, what's it made of? Whats the mushy stuff made of? So many more questions on the brain and then it went to the skin. Why is it this color? What is it made of? So on and so fourth the WHOLE way home. I'm thinking to myself, Ok..this is more like sixth grade questions and I'm answering them to a kindergartener....I keep telling him, if you keep asking questions like this I'm going to make you grow up to be a Doctor...he walks a way and just says, well, we'll see! What a stinker!!! He is so good at memorizing and he is able to spell some words by sounding out the letters. I LOVE IT! It makes me feel like I've taught him well!! Yeah for me!

Lil' Man Kelton!!

This Boy is so Stinking Cute. I just love this Picture of him. His blue eyes just jump out of the picture! He has been kinda grumpy the last week and a half. He is getting his two bottom molars and I can tell it hurts. His bottom gums looked like blood blisters for a couple days! OUCH!! Anyways, as grumpy as he has been, I still just love him so much and I am so thankful he came into my life! He is such a good baby!

My Friend Jen from work asked me for my potato soup recipe; because I just throw everything together I didn't know the measurements to give her so I made it one night so that I could measure things out. So Jen, here's how it goes.
First of all, I have to tell you that I cheat to make it easier. The night before I want potato chowder, I usually do baked potatos with chili or cheddar and broccoli soup, but I bake extra potatos for the soup the next day. You will need four to five potatos depending on their size. If they are on the smaller side do five. Anyways, peel and cube them. Cook one pound of bacon, drain, and cut into small pieces. Chop three to four green onions. In a crock pot, mix Potato's with one can cream of chicken soup, one medium container sour cream, about 1 and 3/4 cup milk (may need a bit more if you want it more soupy), one can of corn, green onions, bacon, about a teaspoon of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let cook on high for three hours or on low for five to six hours. I like to serve it with grated cheese sprinkled on top and with warm rolls or breadsticks. MMMMmmm. I hope you enjoy it!

Tying The Knot!!

Don't they look so happy? The picture is kind of poor quality cause I had four little kids bumping me to get to their mom. This is my sister Tammie; her and Zack got married on Friday, September 19. The day turned out amazing. They had a very beautiful wedding. I had her kids for the weekend. I actually took them on Thurday night and got them all (four) plus my two kids ready for the wedding. Don't they look amazing. I guess if I can handle six, a couple more wouldn't hurt....NOT.

That Time Again...Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Kaython started Kindergarten this year and he so far loves it! The first day he came home he started talking about his two new friends, Braxton and Isaac. He says his teacher is really nice. Which she seems nice and I think she will be able to teach him a lot. Hopefully he will start understanding how to read. I've been trying to teach him but he doesn't get that the sounds of each letter make the word.
I also started back in school and I am so excited about it!! I cannot wait to get my RN!! I have so many things I want to do and learn, but I cannot do them without my RN. Anyways, right now I go on Thursdays only, but it is a full day of school (9-5). I've already started the count down to the end of this semester....12 days! WOOHOOO!! I'm still on the 5th floor at EIRMC, there for a while I wasn't liking it too much, but I've had an *attitude adjustment* and I am enjoying it again.
Brandon got his deer (a four point buck) just three hours into the hunting season. It is a pretty good size one and he got with his bow. ~Good Job Babe~ And of course he will always be at Meleleuca; it's where he is comfortable!
Baby Kelton has been doing good up until this last week. We (well Brandon) had to take him into the Emergency Room on Monday for a temperature of 103.7, (that's with Tylenol and Motrin on board. But they just said it was a "possible ear infection". So, of course we were prescribed the one and only antibiotic: amoxicillin. But he seems to be doing better now, but he is not back to himself yet. Oh-yeah, and I haven't written for awhile, so I've missed a few things. Kelton started walking on the 4th of July and we celebrated his big one year old birthday on August 21. I did a circus theme party and we had an amazing time. It turned out so cute. At the birthday party my sisters boyfriend proposed and she said yes. They are getting married on Friday, less than a week away! So, I've been busy trying to help her get it all planned! SO fun! She is going to be so beautiful! Anyways, that's a quick summary of what's going on. Jody...I need your frequent reminders to update my blog :).

Summer is Here!!!

Well, we have finally seen a couple summer days and I and the boys are trying to enjoy them before it rains again. Tuesday we went to the Splash Park in Rexburg. Kelton went down the slide with his cousin Keaton 5 or 6 times. He loved it and Keaton was such a good sport to take him. Kaython just loves going to play w his cousins and to get Cotton Candy. MMMMmmmmm...we love cotton candy!! So, I posted this pic way late but only because it is super cute and on Monday we got new (professional) family pics taken, but it will probably be a month or more before we get those back. I can't wait to see them. I hope they turned out ok. Anyways, this pic was taken in January, and it was kind of a last minute thing. As you notice, I am not even wearing make-up...scary, I know.
